What does it mean to live an empowered life?

For Kimberly Kelley, it means living unapologetically on her own terms and staying true to herself. It’s about loving fiercely, living courageously, setting healthy boundaries, and building the future she deserves. An empowered life also means releasing blame, guilt, shame, and regret by embracing forgiveness—both for oneself and others.

After publishing No Blame, No Shame: Living an Empowered Life After Divorce, Kimberly embarked on a bold new chapter, starting over as an active senior by moving to the Pacific beaches of Panamá. With newfound independence and self-worth, she took responsibility for her happiness and well-being, proving that it’s never too late to rewrite your story.

In her book, Kimberly shares personal stories, practical techniques, and transformative practices that helped her create lasting change. Whether divorced, separated, or preparing to leave, this book is for women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s ready to let go of old narratives and write new ones—filled with freedom, confidence, and self-love.

“Empowered women, empower women.”

About the Author

Kimberly Kelley is an Arizona native, raised in the small town of Kearny by loving parents and three older siblings. Immersed in sports and music from an early age, she excelled in every sport she played, proudly calling herself a “tomboy.” After high school, Kimberly enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in Texas, Mississippi, South Carolina, Germany, and England—an experience that sparked her love for international travel.

Over time, she turned to self-help techniques and life-transforming practices to create significant changes in her own life and to support those around her. Inspired by the positive impact she witnessed, Kimberly pursued formal training and certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, TimeLine Therapy, Trauma Release, and Life Coaching, ultimately establishing her own private practice.

A turning point came when she had the opportunity to start a spiritual center in Northern Arizona. Transitioning from supporting her husband’s musical career to becoming a leader in her own right, she served as the Spiritual Director of the Center of Universal Light in Cottonwood after her divorce.

In 2023, Kimberly released her first book, No Blame, No Shame: Living an Empowered Life After Divorce, which chronicles her three-year healing journey after her husband of 30 years walked out. Through personal stories, processes, and techniques, she offers practical guidance for other women embarking on a similar path of self-discovery and transformation.

Throughout her life, Kimberly has experienced four major traumas: placing her newborn daughter for adoption; the death of her two-year-old daughter; the death of her 18-year-old son; and nearly losing her own life in a 2011 F5 tornado in northeastern Alabama. Each tragedy prompted profound self-reflection and reinvention, shaping her resilient approach to life.

Kimberly’s mission is to provide tools, support, and understanding to women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who find themselves newly single—whether through divorce or widowhood—so they, too, can build empowered, fulfilling lives.

Her upcoming book, Rising from Ashes: A Mother’s Journey of Learning and Healing, offers a raw and honest look at coping with the loss of a child. Sharing her own mistakes and lessons learned, Kimberly illustrates the importance of self-forgiveness and demonstrates how to heal and rediscover joy in the midst of heartbreak. This heartfelt guide will be available in mid 2025.

  1. This look wonderful and happy for you to have found something so meaningful.

You have always been such a wonderful person and miss the association we had.

My wife Terri passed away almost 8 years ago and you were one of her favorite people also.

You are smart, intelligent, kind, beautiful and just the best person.
