What does it mean to live an empowered life?

For Kimberly Kelley, it means living unapologetically on her own terms and staying true to herself. It’s about loving fiercely, living courageously, setting healthy boundaries, and building the future she deserves. An empowered life also means releasing blame, guilt, shame, and regret by embracing forgiveness—both for oneself and others.

After publishing No Blame, No Shame: Living an Empowered Life After Divorce, Kimberly embarked on a bold new chapter, starting over as an active senior by moving to the Pacific beaches of Panamá. With newfound independence and self-worth, she took responsibility for her happiness and well-being, proving that it’s never too late to rewrite your story.

In her book, Kimberly shares personal stories, practical techniques, and transformative practices that helped her create lasting change. Whether divorced, separated, or preparing to leave, this book is for women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s ready to let go of old narratives and write new ones—filled with freedom, confidence, and self-love.

“Empowered women, empower women.”

About the Author

Kimberly Kelley is an Arizona native, U.S. Air Force veteran, and transformational coach whose life has been shaped by resilience, reinvention, and deep inner work. Raised in a small mining town and immersed early in sports and music, she proudly called herself a “tomboy.” Her military service—stationed across the U.S. and Europe—sparked a lifelong love of travel and personal transformation.

After leaving the military, Kimberly turned inward, drawn to self-help and consciousness-based practices that helped her radically change her own life—and eventually the lives of others. She pursued formal training and certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, TimeLine Therapy, Trauma Release, and Life Coaching, later establishing a successful private practice.

Throughout her life, Kimberly has walked through profound loss and survival. She placed a daughter for adoption, buried two children, and once stood in the direct path of an F5 tornado in northeastern Alabama, surviving when many did not. These moments did not break her—they stripped her to the essential and demanded reinvention. What emerged was not resilience in the polished sense, but a hard-won intimacy with grief, survival, and the quiet decision to keep living with intention.

A pivotal chapter unfolded when Kimberly helped launch a spiritual center in Northern Arizona. Transitioning from years of supporting her husband’s musical career to stepping fully into her own leadership, she became the Spiritual Director of the Center of Universal Light in Cottonwood, guiding others through transformation while continuing her own.

In 2023, Kimberly released her first book, No Blame, No Shame: Living an Empowered Life After Divorce, a candid and practical guide born from a three-year healing journey following the end of a 30-year marriage. Through personal stories and grounded processes, she offers women permission—not pressure—to reclaim their power and create lives aligned with who they have become.

Today, Kimberly’s mission is to support women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who find themselves newly single—through divorce or widowhood—and ready to build meaningful, self-directed lives. Her work centers on self-forgiveness, emotional sovereignty, and conscious reinvention.

Her upcoming book, Rising from Ashes: A Mother’s Journey of Learning and Healing (late-2026), is a raw and compassionate exploration of child loss, grief, and self-forgiveness. Written with honesty and humility, it offers guidance not from a place of perfection, but from lived experience—and a reminder that even after unimaginable loss, joy can be rediscovered.

Since October 2023, Kimberly has been enjoying the sweet life in Panamá.

  1. This look wonderful and happy for you to have found something so meaningful.

You have always been such a wonderful person and miss the association we had.

My wife Terri passed away almost 8 years ago and you were one of her favorite people also.

You are smart, intelligent, kind, beautiful and just the best person.
